Biography
So·lis an understanding and strong fallen prince palace guard "i'm not gonna wait for rain for me to kiss you, no, i'm not gonna wait for rain for me to kiss you" ♫ full lore by Reiyn |
personality Solis is kind and loving. As a child, he was very playful and goofy, but he grew out of that. He never grew out of his love for knowledge and flowers though. He has an eye for beauty and often sees it in everything around him. He sees beauty in typical things, like stars, new hatchlings, and flower fields, but he also sees it in more abstract things. Solis sees beauty in cracked tiles, shattered glass, and broken clocks. He believes that there are no mistakes that can't be fixed and forgiven. He is a scholar in a way. He loves reading and does so in all of his free time. He prefers fairy tales and works of fiction. backstory Solis was a prince in a distant kingdom. He had an older brother who had died, so he was the heir to the throne. That stressed Solis out though. His parents wanted him to marry a princess from a neighboring kingdom and have strong heirs to the throne. Solis had no intention of doing that though. Solis was deeply and painfully in love with his head guard. The head guard was loving and caring and protective, but unfortunately, not a woman. Solis' parents weren't against gay marriage, they just wanted their son to have heirs. True full blooded heirs with a happy wife. Solis kept his relationship with his head guard secret. But then Solis' dead brother came back. He was the heir to the throne and wanted very specific things for his little brother. Solis' brother found out about his relationship and demanded that they end it. Solis lost it and killed his brother, then fled to the head guard's home. The head guard told Solis to stay hidden while he figured things out. Solis obeyed, but he couldn't forever. He went out and was recognized. The head guard was banished from the kingdom and Solis was cursed. His scales were altered so everyone would know what he had done. Solis fled and lived in a different kingdom. Eventually, he was reunited with the head guard. The two went to live in the city with Solis' daughter and were married. job Solis is a palace guard. His assignments change frequently and often times with short notice. The guard captain makes sure to keep everyone on their toes to keep the city officials safe. Solis mostly does patrols of the grounds, but often guards the paladin as well. His favorite assignment is the patrol the inside of the castle. It means he gets to check in on the kitchen and taste test the food. He also enjoys going to the armory and checking to make sure they still have all of their weaponry. There's nothing like polishing armor and sharpening swords to make an afternoon interesting. |
