Biography

Misfire has something of a Ridgeback's temperament when it comes to treasure - if it's shiny it's his, and he will find a way to wear it. He's not necessarily greedy; just easily distracted and quite possessive when he wants to be. If there weren't members of Tagan who'd seen him as a hatchling, most dragons would probably assume he was born as a Ridge.

Like his mate, Fulcrum, Misfire was born in the Scarred Wasteland, although unlike his mate he had the fortune not to run into Tarn and his cronies. He joined the newly-formed scavenging team upon arriving in the Expanse, and proceeded to bug every other member with his hyperactive attitude. They love him really, though - otherwise they would't keep dragging him back from chasing Black Witches across the magma pits in Fire.

Four of Misfire and Fulcrum's children have remained here in Clan Tagan, though thankfully only two of them really take after their father in all his overexcited glory. They're not the most functional family, but they've managed to hang on together somehow (mostly thanks to Fulcrum). Recently, Misfire's come across an unhatched Light egg, which he was planning to raise as his own until Fulcrum pointed out that they have more than enough kids already. Now he's scheming to gift it to his granddaughter, Magnus. The plan's not too popular with Magnus's father, Crankcase, but Misfire won't be deterred.
