Kyouji is the unofficial leader of the band of seven and fits the role well. Besides being the most powerful, she is also the most refined and regal of the ragtag bunch. Well versed in numerous forms of magic as well as conversation, she's definitely not one to be toyed with once angered. Kyouji tends to be more of a lover than a fighter and is the glue that keeps the band of seven as one peacefully.

Kyouji spent her youth in the safety of Taida's forest playing and training with Gouyoku and Tenbatsu and formed a close bond with the two. She had a sort of sibling rivalry with Batsu and they constantly vied for the title of the best. Where she outwitted him with brains and magic, Batsu always had the upper hand with brawn and trickery. She has great respect for her more violent brother and together not much can stop them.

The one true weakness Kyouji has is her partner Gouyoku. No matter what Gou does, Kyouji will protect her to the ends of the earth and would, without a shred of remorse, end the life of any that attempted to harm the other kitsune. This often puts her in conflict with Batsu, though the bond the three still share keeps any excessive violence at bay.
