Shy, as her name suggests, is a quiet little dragon. Beautiful, she has always had attention she did not particularly care for. After an arrangement was made for her to meet suitors, she slipped out unnoticed, intending to hide for a couple of days to be by herself. Each time she hid, she found herself wanting to leave more and more. Trips away became more frequent and longer in length. The frequency started to annoy her clan. She was called unreliable, that she should be following her duty as a clan member. An argument arose between the members of the clan, with Shy at the centre. As the intensity of the argument increased, threats started to fly around, along with accusations of what would happen to her.

One night, one of her few remaining friends hurried up to her with a small bag stashed with food and a few other essentials. She was to be given an ultimatum in the morning, one that her friend knew Shy would never agree to. They said their goodbyes, and Shy left the clan in search of somewhere she knew she could be truly free.

Weeks later, Shy found The Jade Burrow. She was intrigued by the lack of hierarchy in the clan. Dragons seemed to be doing whatever they want with no real order. Shy made attempts at speaking to one of the dragons. Laressi noticed her peeking over and fluttered down beside her. She let Shy open up her heart.
