Beltris was born to a camp of mercenaries, but never really savored doing other people's dirty work. Paid fine coin, sure, but her heart was never into battle, not just for money, and it cost her. As a hatchling, her sole job was to keep watch and scream if anybody touched the hoard. She's never told the whole story, but somehow things went wrong. Really wrong.

Since then she's dropped the mercenary title, and she's liable to smack any dragon who calls her one. As a young dragon, she weathered a whole heap of misadventures, until Zyfernon and Alcyonae found her fending off a pack of Nightmares with nothing more than a scavenged spear and a voice raw from yelling. The two warriors together convinced her to return to the hull, and she found a more wholesome and less harrowing job as the young but eagle-eyed Beltris, First Dusk Guard.

Though, in her off time, it's said that she has a most haunting voice, singing along to the tune of another Prufrockian's pipes.

Beltris has no trust for any enemies that have defected to be familiars to dragons. Any dragons who bring such beasts along will find her eyes turned towards the beast in question at all times. Near her, she only trusts those strange creatures as Yzmah has crafted with deft dragonclaws in her cauldron, and perhaps simple-minded and well-tamed beasts. 		tumblr_inline_o1qzdcwSy21ts73zp_400.png
