Seika

A calm but firm wind mage, Seika prefers to keep things at an easy pace and refuses to allow anyone to rush her. For those that respect this, she returns the respect in kind and often serves as a source of wisdom to those seeking it. For any who don't, she chooses to simply ignore them until they settle dorn or leave. Occasionally a particularly rude dragon will keep pushing and Seika, possessing no fear of anyone, will bluntly dismiss them regardless of who they claim to be. Many believe she would even do this to one of the deities and though it has only been mentioned to her as a joke, she has never denied it.

Though Seika spends a lot of time meditating or sitting peacefully somewhere open and quiet, she does a lot of research into the nature of magic and the world itself. Hoping a more measured approach may uncover secrets that more hurried dragons may miss, she doesn't really mind the possibility that her work may not even amount to much in her own lifetime and believes that what she does now will benefit future generations more than it will her. The thought of recognition or fame does not entice her and it has taken some persistent prodding from friends and co-workers alike to even add her name to her notes.

While looking for information on spirits, Seika was introduced to Fayne and in discovering a shared appreciation for quietly relaxing while surrounded by nature, arranged to spend some time by a peaceful glade that Fayne frequented. The two became fast friends and made many trips to this tranquil spot, growing closer and closer each time until Seika realised she was in love.

Although it was Seika's intention to find a moment to confess her feelings to the nocturne, Fayne proved not only more proactive but more devious, slipping a poem into the middle of a pile of notes the coatl had mentioned she would be sorting through that very day. In a rare act of impulsiveness, Seika sought Fayne out the moment she discovered it and the two set everything aside for the day just to spend it together.
