 Iilahkiir has always been fascinated by sickness and death. Sometimes things can only get worse before they get better, and it is not outside help but the body's own responses to threats through selective rot that cures them. If these responses are poorly regulated, the earth can finish what it began and take a body back into itself.

She manages the Clan's cemetery, the Yawning Graves, even further into the Shrieking Wilds. The sunlight nary touches her scales, and on the occasions she emerges, sensing a death in the Clan, the dark runes on her flank carry the shadow of the deep wood with her. Even the direct sunlight vanishes in the swirling characters, swallowed hungrily by eternal darkness. Small spiders crawl across the cobwebs that cover her frail wings, and her bone accessories rattle with each step.

She is soft-spoken, but saves her words mostly for the dead and their many rituals. She weighs almost nothing for a skydancer, and keeps her steps light enough not to disturb the forever sleeping, so much so she hardly leaves paw prints behind. It is said that seeing her before there is a death in the Clan means you are next.
