Biography
As many Nocturnes, she lacks a self-personality, adopting a mix-match of its surrounding ones, but specially the authoritative, dedicated wise of Kwajah, the leader, and the nostalgia-driven altruistic one of Mudarribd, the trainer and her mate.
Same as Kwajah, Sadiq is a hardworking intellectual, and knows how to put everyone in its place with its sole presence, but unlike the leader, Sadiq is prone to flood others with information as requested, in long monologues of quotes and memorized speeches.
Having learned Coatl with innate ease, Sadiq serves as translator and teacher of the Humming language to Common Draconic speakers, and vice-versa. Same could be applied to Fae's body language, but Sadiq recognizes that even if she can feel the movements flowing like her very soul, it's hard to imitate it physically to make proper demonstrations while teaching it.
Khoja brought her to our lair. His intentions were simply train her as a warrior for our Mother Plague, alongside some other abandoned dragons. But Kwajah looked kinda interested about this dragoness. There was something on her that the eye can only catch when she's almost out of sight. An invisible mysticism that the master felt that anyone had to understand. But it wasn't from her obvious beauty, or from her arcane eyes.
This dragoness trained, worked, sang, danced and laugh, she felt, studied, ate, drank, traveled. She has curiosity and feels love. And fought, and taught to. She did and does it all, living as everyone of us. Loved and respected, isn't any different from the wisest ones in the clan.
Why giving it so much importance, by the way?
Sadiq, the Honest. What caught our eyes is just her happiness, her soft and strong beauty, and her radiant wisdom, reflecting ours.
She now has a kinda different mission. To Educate, alongside Mudarrib the trainer, to our young Fedayins, adepts that will carry the strength and lessons of our Clan. They had taken the responsibility of teaching all the meanings and ways of LIFE, even the more misunderstood and feared, as the Plague itself. We're living things. We all have the magic of our world thriving in our flesh.
To protect life, we must learn to be alive. To protect every living form, we must learn to empathize with them.
Those were hard times. Treated like a step in a staircase, an inanimate object. And sold at garbage price when my body wasn't needed anymore.
No love, no honor, the only opportunity to make something worth of myself was given to me in the form of being traded by the minimal amount of money possible.
It hurts to know that one of my children will be enslaved like that, probably forever, since he'll never know of a bless from a god, nor the taste of a life.
My waiting wasn't any long. The fastest unknown buyer just took me without even looking at me, and flew away for something that was like miles, while I saw my children and prior husband being lost in the distance, sniped by other buyer.
I was abandoned, but rescued and given a new purpose. I found myself getting a name, and being trained among young warriors to serve an ally's fight. I got my first breath of life. To have a purpose of myself, to be worth of something, to grow stronger and wiser. The idea of going to serve the gods and thus finally being free was a candle that incinerated my guts in happiness.
The only idea of me being free and working on a sacred place gave me the life I never tasted before...
Oh... But then I understood that being alive comes with the cost of responsibility. To be alive means to interact with other living beings. And they also feel and learn from those interactions. Never before I felt so appreciated and valued, needed. My new clan had a mission that, in eyes of the living, was even over the god's priorities. And I knew I could be of help.
So I never raised my flight. I'll stay here till I can't do any more good for us all.
