Biography
I will sit and wait until I'm ready to seek revenge
His birth was simply to get revenge. He was to grow up a warrior to overcome a rival clan. The dragons in his home clan were exiled from that rival clan for reasons that were unknown to him. He was to take over the clan his parents died. He was to take over the clan that kicked his family out. He was going to combine the two clans and rule with power.
However, as time went on, Salbatore began to lose interest in his clan duties. He seen many other dragons go off on adventures to travel the lands in search of a purpose. He already had a purpose that was set to stone before he was even born. So why did it feel that it wasn't what he was meant to be? Why did he feel as though he didn't want to lead? All he knew was to be in the spotlight, he knew nothing of being in the shadows.
The dragon often stayed up late into the night talking to his pearl with these questions as if it was to reply to him, of course it never did.
It wasn't until Salbatore learned as to why his clan was exiled did he understand why he felt this way. He discovered the dark truth as to why. The male was disgusted at his clan. A few days after learning the truth, he abandoned his clan and went off on his own.
For the first time, he was able to do whatever he pleased.
For almost three years, the Pearlcatcher traveled on his own, making allies and memories along the way. He planed on staying away from joining a clan for as long as he could, fearing the clan would turn out just like his home clan. That is, until he met a dragon by the name of Decay.
Decay told him of his clan and how everyone, regardless of their past were welcomed to join. Salbatore told Decay that he would have to speak to the leader, just to make sure all was truly well there.
Some time after, Salbatore met with Onigame and Libby. The pair seemed lovely and charming in his eyes. He did, however, almost always got confused when Onigame spoke. He was also slightly off put with that headdress he wore, but really didn't think much about it.
After thinking for a while longer, the dragon made his decision an joined the clan. To his surprise, there was a celebration in his joining. He learned that whenever a dragon joined, and when eggs were hatched, the clan had a celebration for their new members.
About two weeks after he joined, a dragon named Noemi joined the group. Salbatore was easily smitten by the beautiful dragon and deeply believed he was in love. Of course, the Pearlcatcher had never felt such a way, so he wasn't completely sure if what he was feeling really was love. So he talked to Sam and Charlie, one of the pairs who have been mated for a long time. He told them what he felt and asked if his feelings lined up with how they felt about each other, and they did.
Not sure how to confess to Noemi, he waited a little too long. By the time he was ready, the Skydancer had already found a mate. Heartbroken, Salbatore fell into a pit of sadness.
However, a friend that he made, Phantom, introduced him to the art of magic in hopes that it would help clear his mind since he had something else to focus on. It worked.
He and Phantom created a little space in the clan, just for dragons who wanted to practice magic the way they did. Those who joined, wore a strange hood and made an oath to never have children. As in now, the Pearlcatcher is doing great in his new life.
