Grain was a quite ordinary little fledgling, once upon a time. Like many dragonets her age, she did not want to grow up. However, she took it to the next level; she asked the gods, all the gods, to never let her grow up. No one could have predicted that they would actually grant her wish. In fact, no one has been able to figure out who exactly granted her wish. All they know is that since that day, she hasn't aged so much as a minute. Her eyes have the same sparkle, her sense of humor is still that of a child, and she still hasn't changed her position on growing up.

Grain has several nicknames in the clan: Jellybean, Cricket, Pixie, Flitter, and more. Most refer to her habit of literally bouncing everywhere. She is so infectiously cheerful that she can't help jumping to express her enthusiasm.
