Biography
As you make your way through the guild, you eventually find yourself in a large gym. Like the rest of Atlas, it’s bustling with many different dragons- however this group was far more rowdy than those in the main hall. Suddenly, you’re forced to leap out of the way to avoid an imperial sent flying in training and smack right into another guild member. Stumbling backwards, you get a good look at him. In front of you stands a rather large and muscular wildclaw, arms crossed, and brow-furrowed as his sharp eyes rake over you. He tilts his head, sizing you up. As you begin to fear the worst about the stranger, suddenly his hard expression explodes into a fit of laughter.
“Jeez, you look like you thought I’d eat you or something!” His laugh is a hearty boom. “You must be new around here. My name is Brody! I’m the Chief of Combat. I’m responsible for the management of Atlas’s combat teams and a trainer for many of the new recruits. It’s a pretty big deal, you know! You’ve gotta be one heck of a fighter to be the chief of all these amazing teams!” Brody holds up the combat medallion hanging around his neck, a confident smirk on his face. Well, at least until he noticed the look you were giving him. “Er- haha! I’m just messing around, don’t look at me like that, buddy. Anyway, you picked a pretty rough place to explore in the guild itself. The gym is always a bit overwhelming for new recruits and visitors alike. Us combat recruits, we tend to be on the more… ‘spirited’ side. The gym tends to be where most of my teams hang out if they aren’t on a quest or expedition. Of course that doesn’t mean you can’t hang out if you’re not a part of the combat branch, so do make yourself at home. Try not to get killed in the crossfire of sparring teams or overly enthusiastic trainees, and you’re golden.”
He claps you hard on the back as if the two of you had been friends for decades. In reality it’d been more like five-minutes. You say your goodbyes and force your way through the warzone and back out of the gym. You throw one last glance back Brody’s way just in time to see the wildclaw bulldoze a group of guardians, his booming laugh once again echoing through the gym and into the hall.
