Callay

Callay SHY | INTENSE | DRIVEN | SHARP | EMPATHETIC Alchemist/Researcher

Callay is a naturally talented light mage, but her true passion lies in alchemy. She's not incredibly great at it yet, but she has enough drive and determination to power a couple of suns. She tries to avoid practicing her light magic because it reminds her too much of the institution that forced her to learn and use it, but she's up for showing you a couple magic tricks.

She's rather shy and speaks with a light stutter, and is practicing woodwork and whittling. Her favorite things to carve are flowers, hainu, and flowers on hainu.

She and Violette are good friends and will periodically sit down together and jam out to music from a run-down cassette player brought in from one of Transistor's supply runs.




The first thing Callay ever whittled was a very rough wooden spoon to stir her cauldron with, and she treated it with all sorts of varnishes to make sure it could withstand the caustic mixtures. She's improved drastically since making it, but it still remains a sentimental part of her carving collection. It's also a lucky charm of sorts, and she uses it to stir brews that she needs to go especially well.
