Aesthetic: watching a conversation unfold in flat panes of ice, gasping for breath after breaking a frozen lake, batting your eyelashes until the job is done.
Likes: flirting, when a dragon's tongue is loose enough she gets what she wants with little hassle, the flash of recognition in other dragon's eyes.
Dislikes: large bodies of water, being too cold or too warm, rain.

Pallene's egg changed colours towards the end of its incubation. The day she was supposed to hatch, her mother peeled back the leathery shell to reveal a solid block of ice.

She didn't know what to do. She didn't have any body heat to share, so she called her mate over. He curled around the egg for hours and hours while the freezing water melted and made his fingers go numb. Slowly, slowly, the ice melted, and despite all odds, Pallene emerged, spluttering and shivering but alive.

She never stopped shaking, the tremors making her muscles weak. Every time she held a weighted blade, it shook and shook until it dropped to the ground. Her fingers and toes, her tail and nose were all frozen blue, and Pallene used to believe that she would be the first child unable to carry her parent's legacy.

Then, the magic came.

Plague magic so strong is could rip the Shade out of its host. Ecstatic, Pallene burned the binding runes straight into the frozen flesh of her arms. From there, she was ready.

Ready to hunt the Shade.

Pallene's newfound power has reinvigorated her. Before, her mood was on a fast downward spiral, but her usefulness has turned her into an upbeat and energetic drake. She is exuberant, sometimes beyond comprehension. Everything is exciting for Pallene, and everything is an new adventure.

She still has a very clear memory of how cruel the world can be. She isn't foolish.

In fact, she is quite clever, and has a very tactful mind. She can figure out anything she chooses to put her mind to, but often things move very fast for her and she forgets. She has a knack for strategy planning and complex puzzles that does help her out with her job.

She is friendly, but also very nosy. She loves getting gossip on other clan members, even if she has no intention of using it. She wants to know everything about every dragon, even if it's not even close to being her business.

She is also a shameless flirt, and no one is safe from her silver tongue and fluttering eyelashes.
