Kisara is one of the clan’s guards and has been pivotal in negotiations, her soothing presence a key component in keeping everyone calm. She has powerful magic, a rarity for her breed, which she keeps under wraps, only using it if necessary. Very few clan members know, and she’d like to keep it that way.

- Hatchling Biography -
Kisara’s childhood was normal, until she was hit with vivid dreams of a place that seemed familiar but not like anything from the stories her parents told her. Being so young, she initially ignored them, but they always filled her with a great and aching sadness.

- Adolescent Biography -
As Kisara aged, the dreams did not fade, in fact, they only grew clearer and more intense. Her dreams always pictured a tall human with sharp eyes and angular features in them. Sometimes he’d be sitting at a desk in a strange coat or talking to someone else across a strange looking field, but she could never quite recall the other human’s face, just hers.

Hers. How ridiculous a thought. Humans haven't existed since they wiped themselves out in the Second Age. And even if some managed to survive somehow, it wouldn’t be for long. Besides, there’s something inside her, something strong and utterly wrecked with grief, that tells her that this particular human is gone.

Kisara eventually began to avoid sleeping, instead opting to read or watch her lone candle flicker in her dim cove to pass the time.

The lack of sleep caused her to be uncharacteristically irritable and unfocused at times and extremely dejected at others, which drew her parent’s ire and worry, something she had wished to avoid. Her parents eventually questioned her, so she told them she’d been having trouble sleeping, which wasn’t a lie, she just didn’t tell them why. It became her go to excuse when her parents’ worry would flare up on her bad days and eventually, they left her alone, resigned to the fact that their daughter simply had trouble with sleeping.

- Adult Biography -
Years later, Kisara finally decided that she was sick of not knowing what was going on and secretly made a couple of appointments with different shamans.

Most of them told her that it was her subconscious trying to tell her something, but they would never help her find out what exactly it was trying to say. Her hopes were beginning to fade when she showed up at the last shaman’s home, but as soon as she’d stepped through the cloth covered opening, she could somehow feel that this one was different.

After performing a couple of mysterious and strange tests that the others hadn’t done, the aging snapper proposed a startling theory.

Reincarnation? she’d asked incredulously, voice cracking, but somehow- somehow it made so much sense, something inside her clicking into place at the mere mention of it, despite the many startling implications.

Reincarnation. If it were true then this is not her first life time, which means she died and judging by her dreams, her charge did as well. But if she was reincarnated, does that mean he was as well? Is he still alive? Or is she too late?

Plagued by questions, Kisara left, traveling on what could be classified as her Search, as she told her parents, but is it really if your charge is possibly dead? She wasn’t sure.

Kisara eventually ran into Ausha at the Trading Post, where both had been hoping to trade for some materials. They began to chat while waiting and Kisara told the smaller guardian that she'd been traveling for a long time, though didn't mention anything specific and Ausha didn't ask. What she did ask is if she had anywhere to stay. When Kisara started at the question, Ausha clarified and said that traveling for long periods of time is hard on one's mind and body. Rest is important and you look like you could use some, she had said then, voice gentle and kind.

Kisara, hungry and in dire need of sleep, hesitantly agreed.

During her stay, she came to appreciate the clan's company and Ausha and Dak's understanding of their own species. She debated on telling them of her own story, hesitantly hoping that maybe they could give her answers, but ultimately decided against it. She's eternally grateful they never pushed her.

When Kisara was first brought to the clan by Ausha, she insisted on contributing as a way of paying for her stay since she had no money. She put her physical abilities to use, demonstrating and proving her strength, before she was assigned as a clan guard and put under Argok's charge.

Once her temporary stay becomes permanent and she joins the clan as an official member, she keeps her role and works even harder now that the clan has so kindly taken her in and given her a home.

As a clan guard, she helps with security and patrols the areas around the lair in case someone happens to get past the illusions that have been set in place.

While Kisara is happy where she is, with her new family and friends, her soul aches for her charge. Is he still human? If so, then he is likely dead. Or did he reincarnate into a dragon, like herself? She has so many questions and some possible theories, but she doesn’t know who to turn to. Maybe talking about it would ease the giant nothingness that's taken root in her chest, slowing spreading through her limbs like poison, but she’s terrified of what the consequences will be if she does.

She's come so close to telling Ausha, the leader's smile and energy bringing her secret to the very tip of her tongue, and yet she bites it back every time. She's so tired of feeling like this, but she refuses to let her pain stop her from living. She has to keep going.

For him. He deserves answers as much as she does.

- Familiar Biography -
Rudo, Kisara's enchanted armaments, is a very helpful familiar considering her job. When in battle, he shields her blind spots and helps guard those she is trying to protect with the help of his twirling swords. Their personalities are similar, in that both are normally quiet and kind, but if pushed, they can be quite frightening. When not in use, Rudo prefers to sleep, napping on one of the crags in Kisara's personal lair. Kisara finds it charming as he reminds her of some fancy wall decoration in that state. She's sure he'd be offended if she ever told him as much.

- Additional Notes -
➤ Kisara's sword is named Quies, which means peace.

➤ Kisara, aside from Argok, is the most diplomatic of the guards and is usually the one chosen to escort representatives.

➤ Despite her breed, Kisara is very adept at magic, though she hesitates to tell others. Every time she does use it, she thinks of her lost charge. Only Argok and Red know about her magic skills.
