Nova is the first among eleven other 'Grand' dragons, called such for their inexplicable trait of being unbound to neither night nor day. As such, Nova lives up to her title in more ways than that. When seasons change, it is Nova who brings the cold around the Lair, drifting day and night, snow and cold left in her wake. Those caught unprepared for her are at their own devices; she will not help. She comes off as cold to many, but she has very few exceptions, oft whoever she takes a very rare liking to.

Nova's past is a very secretive and unknown one. Rumors spin stories, weaving tales, saying she was born in the Southern Icefields, though exactly where remains vague, and was raised a common thief, stealing from clan to clan, wandering the cold, unphased. They say, one day, she discovered her uncanny abilities in magic, but grew too brave. They say, in whispers now, she was captured by Gaolers but escaped with nothing but her skills and knives made of ice. But those are just rumors, they insist, and the true past of the cold and quiet fae is anyone's guess.

- - - - ▢ Loyalties
Where do the strange fae's loyalties lie? If you ask her, she will only give you a slow tilt of the head and a questioning gaze. Ask Skire, the leader of the night, and she will tell you the truth. None of the Grand dragons align themselves with either clan, and Nova is no exception. Her cold nature leaves her indifferent to day and night. She pays no heed to what issues one or the other has, and is not particularly inclined to start.
