 Huge Morkoy shifted uncomfortably - he was not fitting into this tiny nest made of tree sap anymore. He sighed and crawled outside, breaking numerous branches and hitting his head hard in process. He wasn't clumsy - his home was small. Whole swarm of Faes encircled him immediately with worried looks - they were only as big as his head alone, and he was just a hatchling yet. It was time to tell him - Morkoy was adopted. He was found by small Fae clan as an egg, with no other dragons nearby - therefore Faes were sure the Light itself created this egg with its magic, and so they had to take care of it, to raise the brilliant heir who might even become some sort of a royalty someday. They were ready for anything - but for a Guardian hatch. Morkoy's tiny family loved him dearly, and they decided it would be the best for him to head out travelling and finding his own clan by himself from now on. Morkoy found his place to belong relatively fast - the Temple of Soul, big clan with all kinds of strange dragons. They lacked moral, and Morkoy decided to become the Guard, as, he supposed, it would make a decent, true dragon out of himself. As literally the only one guard who takes his chores seriously here, Morkoy learned all the laws by heart (even while he had troubles with reading) and now proudly performs his watch, announcing each night that "it's midnight and all's well". He accepts each breed and treats even the darkest individuals with respect. You would not exaggerate if you say that he truly loves his job. Being socialised well in always swarming, active Fae society, Morkoy never had troubles with communicating or memorising. He knows everyone by name, remembers their soft points and acts like a your guy everywhere. Charismatic to almost illegal level, ambushing with his honesty, he is able to befriend or persuade anyone - taking he's insanely strong physically, as well. However, Morkoy never actually utilises his strength if not needed - he would prefer to stop the conflict before it starts. But if the cause is dire, he would be the first to act with a frightening confidence, and would easily sacrifice himself if needed. He might seem like not having any flaws, but he totally lacks irony and sarcasm, is clueless about romance, and may be even called naive. All his joking or flirting attempts would fail miserably, however, this somehow just adds him charm. "He could lead armies, Angua thought. He really could. Some dragons have inspired whole countries to great deeds because of the power of their vision. And so could he. Not because he dreams about marching hordes, or world domination, or an empire of a thousand years. Just because he thinks that everyone's really decent underneath and would get along just fine if only they made the effort, and he believes that so strongly it burns like a flame which is bigger than he is. He's got a dream and we're all part of it, so that it shapes the world around him. And the weird thing is that no-one wants to disappoint him. It'd be like kicking the biggest puppy in the universe. It's a kind of magic."
