YZMEL
Head Engineer |
art by destinyWeb
Appearance:
He is a very tall, slim man, with tiny wrists and long, skinny limbs. He has a lengthy, narrow face, and pale, thin lips, almost always in a position of dissatisfaction. He has medium-length, dark blue hair, and eyes an electric blue, the left having a fleshy scar cross down it. His stance is always legs shoulder apart, with strict posture. He is extremely posh and gentlemanly, sporting a black top hat, gray and black checkered scarf, metal vest, and robotic tools of his own creation, including a robot attachment to his limb. When he becomes frustrated, it shows. His shoulders, usually pulled high and to the back, drop, and his extended fingers pull on his cheeks or his hair while his face glows red. But his voice gives it away first; he makes high-pitched snaps at whoever was causing the issue, and continues to murmur under his breath. If he gets too mad, his blood pressure raises and he shorts out.

Personality:
As the Head Engineer of the Tempest Spyre, he takes orders only from the Stormcatcher himself, and enforcing it upon the lower engineers. His skill as an engineer is unmatched by any other in his field. However, he takes no pride in his work - If you could call it that by any stretch of the imagination. He oversees the whole operation, from beginning to end, and there is not a single step in-between that falls unnoticed by him. He sees the fodder - Even the children - as leser beings, as if they aren't people at all, but only the power that they will feed to keep the battery running. For the most part, he is apathetic, seeing the sacrifice as a necessity in order to ensure the survival of his own kind. In the same sense, he asks that no lightning dragons are exalted, only fodder belonging to other clans. He can be quite lazy as well, eager to push his work onto others as long as he can get away with it. He's incredibly smart, but shows it to very few.

Familiar:
He created his Chromefeather Lookout himself, using spare robotic parts to build his companion. His Chromefeather Lookout aids him by acting as a guard. The robotic bird screeches a nasty cry when it spots fodder attempting escape, notifying him. The robot lacks any intelligence whatsoever, and can be knocked out easily by a projectile, but it has a sharp eye that sees everything that goes on, and reports back immediately to Yzmel.
