They seem like such an unlikely pair, Obsidian being grumpy most of the time, and always nitpicking every little action of most dragons, and Faerie being kind to everyone all the time, and always looking out for anyone who needs help, however he's quite cuddly when he's alone with her, but he denies that he likes to cuddle, and says he "doesn't waste his time with such odd activities.", often earning a slight chuckle and eyeroll from Faerie. He sometimes hurts other's feelings, and will apologize as soon as he can.
He tries to act tough and cold, but really he can be quite a big softie.
