Drogheda Clan Rancher | Rose Gardener —–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–——–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–— Drogheda is a prince, being Tiberius's first non-illegitimate son. Seeing as how he's nowhere close to inheriting the title of clan ruler though, he occupies his time with study and pursuit of his passions. Unlike his parents, he is not consumed by wanderlust. He does however, have a particular fondness for those who are - especially his mate, Lorne. Drogheda prefers to stay at home though and attend his responsibilities. He helps his grandmother, Tyna, with whatever leadership duties she'll give him and spends the rest of his time tending the clan's livestock. Carefully, and with Gaia and Riversong's help, so as not to disrupt too much local wildlife, Drogheda carved out a section of the clan's territory to serve as land for ranching. He spends much of his day patrolling his paddocks and making sure that the animals are healthy and safe from local predators. With his remaining free time, he has added considerably to Tisane's rose beds. He loves roses and took over the care of Tisane's and added many many of his own bushes. He also grows them in various decorative places around the clan. Seeing as he's the clan's youngest prince, no one really argues with his aesthetic placement. Seeing it as prudent to be prepared, Drogheda occupies the nights when his mate is out hunting, with study. Not that he expects anything to happen to both his grandparents and his parents, but on the off-chance that he ever does find himself clan leader, he'd like to be a good one. He is well-versed in politics, diplomacy, literature, math, science, tactics, and anything else that it strikes him as useful to learn. He also critiques and edits his mate's writings. Also in the effort of being prudent, he will on occasion breed with one of the females of the clan. His heart isn't in it, for it belongs solely to his mate, but he knows he has an obligation to continue the royal bloodlines, and he has several female friends who's qualities he respects, even if he has no romantic interest in them. —–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–——–—–—–—–—–—–—–—–— |
