chase the morning
Fish on dry land have never been so graceful, elegant. And like the exposed & waterless animal, the pink tinted koi-esque dragon's skin tends to reject sunlight like something unholy would reject an item of worship. She's far from devilish, far from a typical lunar deviant. Her nights are spent in restless pacing, quick enough to leave marks on the ground, light enough not to mark her. She waits.

At dawn she emerges from her quarters, excited to get a taste of the morning air, fresh water, gentle sun just starting to reach out. The reflection of each scale is enough to leave anyone watching in awe. Shines and shimmers, glides and strides, all collide in an impeccable combination -- a cocktail if you will -- of looks, grace, and pure joy.
