Although she was born in the gloomy, endless dusk of the Tangled Woods, Silverbirch has always been fascinated by the way plants just spring out of the ground powered only by the light of the sun. Determined not to let her shady origins get in the way of her passion for all things arboreal, Silverbirch regularly travels across Sornieth with her trusty camera, cataloguing the many species of tree she comes across. She has even cultivated a - still small - arboretum on the small strip of the Liminal Space above the reach of high tide; she has been known to supply Lapsang with dried logs for his experiments with smoked teas. Silverbirch also adores songbirds of any shape or size, although her sharp claws and loud voice don't exactly enamour her to the local populations of fauna she tries to befriend.
