Biography
Not too long later, he found the notebook with Melisey's research on The Star and there he found out about the existence of stellarites. In the same notebook, he noticed a list of books and scrolls which Melisey used as sources for his research.
He went to the local library to get the books from the list. The more he was reading, the more he felt like that's not only a legend and he has to prove it by finding a proof.
There he found his destiny.
And now, every time The Star has its time, Besseges tries to find at least a tiny shard of a stellarite. Unsuccessfully so far, the closest he has been to find one was in 2022, on the first night of The Star's appearance, when he found a hatchling who absorbed the stellarite.

Besseges always is a kind and calm dragon. It's really hard to upset him. Saint-Nazaire from the beginning knew, that Besseges is an ideal name for him. He's very interested in the Star of Besseges legend and he still looks for informations about it... Loves night and looks like he just lives in night. Who knows, maybe it's because his legend related philosophical views? You often can find him when he's writing down his views on the scroll, sitting under a tree.
His interest in that Star of Besseges legend revealed very early. Only some days after he was born, he met Etoile. He told Besseges that legend, as a fairytale. But he didn't know that this will change this young dragon's life. Since then, he started to ask Etoile about details of legend and started to write them down on scrolls. MANY SCROLLS! Tips how to find legendary Star of Besseges, when and where are the best conditions to watch it... Just everything.
Now, his place where he lives, is just a scroll stack. He's well known in the lair as a Philosopher In The Stars. He still believes that he will find that legendary Star. That's maybe why looks like he lives only in night...
He still thinks that he's a chronicler, but when no one looks at him, he stops to note important things and makes another notes about Star of Besseges. That's why no dragon in lair trusts him as a chronicler and the official chronicler is his brother, Bryan.
Name origin:
Besseges is a very small town, somewhere in the Gard departament in France...(and as always you'll find more in the French Wikipedia)
*It's all about that Star of Besseges legend and it's in reality just about the Etoile de Besseges race, somewhere in the beginning of February, so...*
