Wilting Rose 		Craggy pays no attention to the couriers circling overhead. Occasionally, his friends and clanmates receive letters or packages, but he has long since entertained the idea that something would come for him.

Suddenly, a scroll floats down from above, landing square on his nose. Intrigued, Craggy unfurls the letter and lets out a startled, but certainly excited screech.

That's alright, though--I believe you're beautiful on the inside, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
I hope you're enjoying life in the Southern Icefields. It must be so cold all the way down there! I can't even imagine it. I wish you had chosen to move to a closer region, but if you're happy where you are, that's all a mother can ask for. And I hope the members of your new clan are treating you well! If not, I can have your father come down there and knock some sense in them~ (Just kidding! Mostly...)

Craggy beams, a crooked yet earnest smile. He'll share with the others later, but for now he tucks the letter safely inside his satchel, close to his heart. He can't help that his eyes well up with tears so big one could drown a nature sprite, but in his short life, Craggy can't remember being happier.
