Biography

Flambebe subspecies

The ice field refugees were almost ready to say goodbye to the land of ice and hello to the ashfall wastes. Moving was the safest way to keeping their small colony alive from the vicious attacks of wild predators and the ice eyed dragons that showed no mercy. It was sad for them, having to lose a lot of heritage but also good because they could start anew with little fear. The area the little colony was to move into was a giant hole in the ground far away from dragons society but close to the flamescale seriths. The harpies hoped the seriths would play nice with their new neighbours and accept them but only time would tell. One more check that everything was gone and Lora made the call.

. When the colony finally arrived in the land of lava, all the mages got to work cooling the ground and creating a set temperature. Lora was directing movement of crates and directing housing setups while her wife, Ara scouted outwards seeing just how far they could stretch. Ara flew high in the sky, scouting the terrain, looking for any anomalies on the ground. Everything was fine until she spotted two blobs of blue shuffling across the ground. At first glance she thought it was water, on her second maybe some ice magic, but on her third she realised it had to be a creature. She had two options: go back and let it have time to escape or go lower and assess if it was a threat. She decided to take the second choice and flew down to the ground. The two blobs must've seen the shadow growing bigger and stopped to stare at it. By the time Ara got chose enough she realised just what they were; Tundras. The irony of tundras being here after their giant move made her sadly giggle inside. She had to get closer, hopefully they were friendly or lost? She landed nearby and coughed loudly, turning the really small (were they normally that small?) tundras around. The tundras stared and panted at her before bouncing over towards her. Ara flew just out of reached as the trundas sniffed and poured at the ground. They had to be hatchlings. Ara felt bad for them, no one to take care of them and miles from water, they were born only to die. Ara was thrown into another decision: leave them to die or bring them back. Ara knew which one she had to do and fell back to the ground. The tundras went all over, licking her. She squarked a bit and started walking, tundras following. She didn't know how long walking would take but at least she had company.

There was a visible and verbal sigh that came from Lora when she saw Ara being followed by the tundras. Lora blankly stared at her and waited for Ara to explain. Ara explained everything that happened and gave her partner a 'please let us keep them' stare. If Lora wasn't such a good hearted harpy leader, she would've let those tundras die but no they were here now and deserved the same respect as survivors. With one more sigh she said to go tell the rest not to attack the blue tundras and went back to doing her job. It wasn't even one day in the ashfall wastes and already they had dragons.

Lora bonded well with the orange bellied Tundra more than the other. The orange one seemed to be smarter or at least tried to follow orders more often. It wouldn't jump around as often and would watch and sniff anything that she did. She guessed that was kinda cute. As they aged, both Tundras wanted to help out their family by taking a job. While the orange one, Chrim, wanted to learn ice magic, the brown one, Chippy, wanted to learn how to bake. A weird difference but Lora was more than happy to teach Chrim the ways of ice. At first Lora wasn't even sure a fire dragon could learn ice magic but when the Tundra held her first snowflake, her motherly instincts kicked in and cried in happiness. Chrim became an excellent caster, doing all types of tricks with ice. She was a great addition to the climate team.

Lora stared at the guardian before her and softly said hi. The guardian said a hi as well and asked for the leader. Lora simply pointed at herself, sending the guardian into a light chuckle. The guardian said she was here for peace as she made a clan spot nearby. Lora was more than happy to negotiate peace if they could be protected as well... it turns out Talona doesn't like harpies adopting dragons and she hated fighting her own kind. The guardian, Granith, agreed to protect them from attacks but asked about adopting dragons. Lora called for the two tundras and Ara and they shortly arrived soon after each other. Granith said hello to them all and allowed the tundras to sniff her. She stayed for a bit, chatting about leading and left to tell her clan the old news.

These days Loras clan is often trading with clan Boltninja and socially hanging around. Lora often attends meeting with Granith and Scivil and Ara usually helps translate or negotiate the bigger deals. Chrim and Chippy also hang out with other Tundas and show off their amazing ablilties, maybe they're trying to teach them. All in all the refugees are very glad the moved homes.
