"Not all treasure is silver and gold."

Reis is the capable fisher of the clan, bringing in a breath of the sea with him to clan Burkhard. He is still very loyal to the Tidelord, but has settled down in the Nature clan. Oddly enough, Yggdrasil seems to have little influence on him; saying the sea is too loud in him.

Rumors in the clan say that Reis wasn't always as refined and gentle as he is nowadays. Some claim that he used to be a pirate, feared for his greed and whom would strike fast as a snake from the foggy waters.

The coatl has never acknowledged any of these whispers and accusations about his past. Since there is no proof of any wrong-doings, Loki has always refused to start a trial, claiming that the past is in the past.

Besides the Tidelord, Reis still shows his gratitude to the Stormcatcher and the Gladekeeper as well. He's brought a tradition of offering fititng materials and sustenance to the gods from which the clan wishes favour.

With this tradition, some clan members first gained interest in something resembling spirituality. The Eleven Gods always had been important to them, but this seemed to bring them even closer in a suitable way.

~Biography~

____Reis' mother was a Guardian born under the influence of the Tidelord. This influenced how the Coatl was raised greatly. Lyseria was a seer whom loved the sea greatly and thus she saw it as a gift from the dragon God of waters that two simple Guardians birthed a Coatl son. For when Reis hatched, wet feathers greeted her instead of hard fins and scales.

____Even though a small miracle had taken place, the Coatl's parents tried to treat and raise him as any other dragon in their clan.
Reis was born under the Stormcatcher and had a more practical mind due to this, but his true home was the water and sea - he knew no better with how he was raised. Adventure drove him to sail beyond what the eye could see.

____Spending months as an outlaw had hardened him; he had actively turned away from his spiritual mother with her grey gaze upon the world. He sought to "splatter color on this gray" of hers. Yet even though he enjoyed what he had become, finding out that his parents had turned to their gods for good made him change his ways. He found Burkhard and more importantly, he found Antheia.

His mate is Antheia, the crafty elegant seamstress of the clan. He often brings her shiny scales and other things he finds while sailing and fishing, which she then uses for her works. Reis is secretly jealous of Antheia's cooperation with Aurelian.

The Sea of a Thousand Currents is his second great love and he actively works to create a small copy of it in the lake and rivers near the Ash tree. His greatest accomplishment is a rocky hill submerged in the lake where some coral grows.

Unlike most fishers, Reis prefers to fish with use of his trident or a spear instead of the more regular nets or fishing rod. This way he doesn't have to play the waiting game, but actively hunts the seafood.

He's quite fond of many sea creatures even though he hunts the edible ones. For this reason he'll take any familiar that can swim properly with him when sailing, training them to hunt with him as an equal partner. They're great traveling companions.
