Of the Psychics, Kasatka is the most approachable, the most pragmatic and practical, the most down to earth. She handles the group's accounts, schedules appointments (Blu helps her in this area), and holds the group together when Briseis and Calypso's bickering threatens to tear them apart. She doesn't have any delusions of grandeur, though she does love riddles and is always carrying a deck of tarot cards around. She's in the "seer" class - she can see past the situation to the root cause, she can see past all your masks to your true self that you're trying to hide, and she uses her cards to help her do all of this. Her cards are her "tools, with which to focus the mind." She's let me flip through them before, they're worn out at the corners, some are stained with a bit of tea, and the illustrations are in an old style with contrasting colors, sometimes depicting rather graphic scenes. She seems to like dark humor - I've also been to her den, and she collects comic books depicting demons playing with hatchlings, hatchlings playing catch with their heads, victorian looking dragons who have too many faces or have terrifying reflections when they look in the mirror... I didn't like them much, but somehow, I couldn't stop looking, turning page after page of existential horror.

Also, for the Hallow's Eve/All Mages festivities last year, she didn't wear a costume, so much as... a spell that showed all her bones? She thought it was ingenious, and no one thought (or bothered? or thought it worthwhile?) to tell her that is was actually a bit creepy. Kasatka is always doing her own thing, after all. Weird is her normal. She may be a little more relatable than the rest of her trio, but at the end of the day... she's still a psychic.

Unconventional is the name of her game. She used one of those letter chain dating services to find her mate, even though everyone warned her about getting scammed (forgetting, I guess, that all she was to do is burn some incense and flip some cards over the top of a letter to see all the intentions of the writer). She has no filter, not even among hatchlings - she speaks to her own (and honestly everyone else's) as if they were adults already, and starts giving them responsibilities pretty much as soon as they can talk.
