Despite being Wind flight born and raised, Julio's always felt a deeper connection with Nature. He loves the sprawling steppes and fields of Wind and would never leave them permanently, but he's often found away visiting the more vibrant lands of the Nature flight. While still keeping with Wind traditions out of respect to the other clan members, most of Julio's faith and prayers are with the Gladekeeper. His devotion has been rewarded by a Nature sprite choosing to stay with him as a familiar.

It's common to see Julio waddling around the lair with bundles of birds and feathers trailing behind him. He's worked out a deal with a member from a neighboring Fire clan, feathers for the nutrient-rich ash produced in their land, which then goes to be traded to Nature dragons who don't like to venture far from home in return for packets of seeds. The seeds are carefully cultivated and maintained around the lair and the clan has made a fair amount of treasure from selling apparel crafted from the blossoms.

Julio's permanently mated to Valeria, the clan's leader. Julio was instantly infatuated with Valeria the moment he saw her, he's never been in a relationship with another dragon. It took longer for her to warm up to him, especially considering their age gap and initial differences, but they've made it work.

It would be wrong to say Julio's uninterested in clan politics, but he tends to stay out of them as much as possible to keep his anxiety levels low. He doesn't have the temperament or energy for battling beyond the basics to help supply the clan with food so he spends most of his time gardening or decorating the interior of the lair.
