Opal and Beryl are known as “The Weavers” - not only because of the cloth they make, but also because the sisters “weave” spells and enchantments for the Nest. Together they can bind their magic into a physical object, ranging from something as simple as an untearable net to the infinitely more difficult clothing that makes the wearer invisible. Unfortunately for the clan’s finances, such things take a very long amount of time to make and exhaust the sisters, so little things like amulets are as far as they’ll go.

Beryl, the older of the sisters, is more cautious (not paranoid, and she’s got her reasons) and reserved, but once she makes a friend she sees them as family. She very much likes flowers and plants, even though she’s terrible at keeping them alive. She volunteers a great deal of her time to helping with the Nest’s gardens, though unless she’s specifically directed she unintentionally does more damage than help. Nobody quite has the heart to tell her this.
