Fleur

Despite his large size and considerable strength, Fleur can hardly be considered an intimidating dragon. His eyes always carry the warmth of a smile and the corners of his mouth naturally turn up to complete his constant look of soft bliss. Moreover, his bright candy coloration makes it difficult to seem anything less than friendly. In fact, hatchlings downright flock to him.

Luckily, his personality matches his appearance. Fleur has a magnetic aura about him; Other dragons simply love being in his presence. It was only natural that he would eventually become the clan's designated hatchling caretaker.

Furthermore, he adores the hatchlings nearly as much as they do him. He loves telling them stories, gently guiding them around, and watching their eyes shine in wonder as they learn each new thing about the world. In return for their trust in him, he devotes as much of his time as possible to helping them through every step in the process of growing up and becoming an adult member of the clan.

However, even when the hatchlings Fleur takes care of grow up, they still like to hang around. Some are more obviously clingy than others, but every member who grew up under him seems to have a certain favoritism toward him. Most dragons are incredibly respectful and willing to go out of their way to help him out. He, more often than not, works to return the favor as well. So often in fact, it rarely feels like the other dragon even made a sacrifice. Perhaps this disturbs those who believe he's just trying to keep the upper hand, but he's kind of oblivious to any of the gossip and theorization that goes on about his motives.

At the end of the day, Fleur is happy. He believes the others in the clan are as well... for the most part at least. That's all that matters at the moment. After all, problems can be dealt with as they come up, right?
