Hemera is touched with the eternity of the Green Sun, a mysterious celestial mass of limitless energy which provides her with magical prowess beyond that of her peers. Her skin is ever changing, the Sun's light simultaneously breaking itself through and healing her again.

Her birth was not unusual by circumstance, other than being heralded by slightly higher amount of solar activity.
Blue scales and dark skin, she was round and sleepy as any other hatchling. A curious green light flickered in her eyes.

But when the mysterious Pearlcatcher with the piercing gaze arrived, something awoke within her.

Heat bubbled beneath her skin, leaching colour from her scales until she was a pale, mottled tone. Light flickered amid cracks that split her hide, flaking away to reveal a vibrant, ever-shifting mass of energy beneath.
