Zachary
Hunter / Guard

Zachary was born and raised in a mirror clan in the Shifting Expanse, trained to be a guard for the workers and engineers in case a robot went rogue or something else attacked. He was odd for a mirror, preferring to train alone and sleeping the farthest away from the pack. As soon as he was old enough, Zachary left and was hired by a small group of employees that has had trouble with violent robots attacking them. He got the job done of course, killing or dismantling anything that threatened them, but his irritable behavior annoyed everybody. Zachary constantly snapped at anyone that got too close and never actually talked unless it was a report or to complain, and his fury when he was mad scared everybody there. Discontent there got so bad that the Stormcatcher himself had to come and fire him, essentially either letting him strike out alone until he shaped up or leave the Shifting Expanse and find another clan to bother. Zachary opted for the second choice and left. He wandered around for a bit, living in the desert and trading materials for food and water with dragons that could stand talking with him for five minutes. Eventually he found himself at the border of the Ashfall Wastes, and decided that it couldn't be much worse than where he lived, so he forged on to try to find someone that would buy his protection. After getting chased out of a few territories, he found himself at the edge of a small shop, or something like one. Zachary figured that if it was a shop, they had money and went inside and offered to be a guard. Unfortunatly, they didn't, but offered him food, his own den, and part of the goods the shop had to offer. He figured that would be the best deal he would get in a while, and stayed with them, until he could find a clan with a better payout. He never left.

After living at the shop for a while, Zachary's trademark snappy personality started to fade, and all that was left was a kind, but hard-working and easily annoyed mirror. He works as both the hunter and guard of the clan, but rarely leaves their territory to find food. His daughter Silver works along with him and they tend to patrol the borders of the clan's territory together. His mate is Rose, and he enjoys her company whenever she's back from scavenging in other regions.

Personality:

Originally he was extremely irritable, and everyone a mile around him avoided him. After being shown some kindness and the passion of Fire dragons rather than the harsh work ethic of Lighning dragons, he's mellowed down a bit. He's kind to a fault, and can come off as blunt and easily annoyed when dragons first meet him. Become one of his closest friends, and he'll drop nearly everything to help. Like most mirror dragons, he prefers to show his appreciation by action, but he still talks a lot to those close to him.

Small Facts:

He came to the clan with rusted and dented armor. Horrified, Frin quickly made him a new pair that worked much better.
In his spare time, him and Silver train together with Derek, as his battle skills are the best in the clan.
Frin likes to tease him of him being her son in law. He always retorts with the comment that's she's a grandma now. They never mean anything with these playful arguments though.
While on one of his rare trips out of the Ashfall Waste, he came across an injured and dying Scaleback. He nursed it back to health, and because of their similair personalities, it became his familiar. It helps him hunt, and even though Zachary won't admit it, he'll play with his Scaleback sometimes.
He likes to use his lightning magic to give his enemy a nasty shock, and because it looks cool too.
It was fairly obvious that he fancied Rose and she liked him, but his stubbornness and her unusual shyness made the whole thing drag on for so long that the whole clan was on their claws waiting for it to happen. One night after hanging out, he finally asked her to be mates, and he's the most caring and kind around her.
