Cupcake

Cupcake does not accept the necessity of exalting. She understand its importance, but it has broken her heart to many times.


Cupcake replaced Elessar after her exaltation. She did not have any qualms taking the responsibility. She looks at the clan members as children. Dragons and hatchlings that must be cared for and loved without any conditions.


Cupcake loved a male nocturne named Ete. He was a beautiful dragon with a beautiful soul. He cared for the familiars. Never fought in battle because he saw it as barbaric. He loved every dragon in the realms. But then he was gone


She know she can’t fully blame Kanriss. Ete was just as devoted to the Gladekeeper as Kanriss. She never met Elessar, so she isn’t sure about her, but she wouldn’t doubt if Kanriss exalted her just as a present to the Gladekeeper.


What does the Gladekeeper want with dragons anyway? Cupcake has never met the Gladekeeper; only Kanriss has. But why should Cupcake stand their and accept everyone she loves being taken away to this mysterious deity for unknown reasons?


It wasn’t just Ete. It was all of their children too. Domnar. Feyace. Hura. Two of the five hatchlings she had with Ete were sold to other clans, to keep Joyce happy and give her treasure.
Cupcake never understood why her hatchlings were never good enough to keep. They were only good to exalt and sell.


Kanriss later tried to console Cupcake. He wanted them to be the king and queen of the clan. He needed to provide his arrogance with power. If he was king of a clan, it would mean everything. Clans, however, are not monarchies. Cupcake would never allow it. Especially after….


Cupcake and Kanriss had 6 beautiful hatchlings together. Not one of them was kept. Not even sold to other clans. As soon as he could, Kanriss exalted them all to this Gladekeeper.


Who is this damn Gladekeeper? Why do they need these hatchlings and these dragons? Cupcake might not fully blame Kanriss for Ete. But she will never stop blaming him for their hatchlings that he never seemed to love.


Cupcake’s relationship with Kanriss is fractured. Cupcake is his business partner. That is all. Nothing more.
