"THE LEGENDARY SKÖLL! THE WOLF THAT SEEKS TO DEVOUR THE SUN!" Is what most dragons would think upon seeing this wolf.

However, what nobody knows, is that this wolf used to be a Pearlcatcher.

Many thousands of years ago, this Pearlcatcher, along with his friend, decided it would be fun to try and capture some faeries in a jar. Unfortunately, they greatly underestimated the power of said faeries, and were then cursed into the form of beasts, the only way to dispel the curse being to catch the faeries that had cast the spell.

For thousands and thousands of years, the two chased their respective faeries, the creatures always eluding themselves from their grasp. Many dragons assumed, from the wolf's appearance, that they were the Legendary Sköll and Hati, forever chasing the spirits of the moon and the sun.

As the years went on, the dragons began to forget their very names and identity. All they knew was what other dragons called them, and their mission to catch their ever elusive faeries, even if they could not remember why anymore.

While their chases sometimes drove the pair apart, in time they would always find themselves reunited. Such as when Sköll had run into Discord.

Hati had long ago split apart from Sköll, joining a Mirror's pack within the Viridian Labyrinth, while Sköll followed his faerie to the Starfall Isles.

It was there, where Sköll witnessed the incredibly odd Fae, and found himself just... completely in AWE at the strangeness.

Such awe drew Sköll's attention completely away from his faerie, and he just felt... compelled to follow this strange Fae instead.

Insulted, Sköll's faerie now chases after HIM, continually trying to get back his attention to restart the chase.

But after living so long, constantly chasing, Sköll found himself enjoying the more easy life of a dragon's familiar, especially after Discord ended up reuniting him with Hati, whom was following the Mirror that would become Discord's mate.

Though no matter how he may try to convince his brother that chasing the faeries isn't worth it anymore, Hati still refuses to be dissuaded...
