About
Starseeker had been one of the first to find La Dame Blanche Manor, and she easily could've qualified for one of the penthouse rooms. She had been offered to share with a many-eyed Guardian, but she had refused. She needed to stay close to the ground, to feel the rumblings and goings beneath her feet. Though she was an Arcane Dragon, she kept some bits of pure Snapper within her. The closer to the ground, the better, especially considering her job. Smithwork was usually seen as Fire's job, associated with forges and fire and buckets of water to rapidly cool metal, but there was another type of smithing. Arcanist's employed many types of magic users, and one classification were Runesmiths. Those that could carve, with such accuracy and precision, runes and sigils upon everyday objects and materials. Thus imbuing them with whatever sort of magic that the Runesmith desired, and whatever the runes dictated. Starseeker made sure to carve the same runes that she had been taught since a hatchling around her door and room in the Manor. Almost unnoticeable, made only of similarly colored stone or maybe even just seared into the wood itself. It protected her from any sort of interferance from the other denizens of the Manor. Not all that came to La Dame Blanche were kind after all, not all that came to La Dame Blanche Manor came for innocuous reasons. Most there were on the run from Gods, some for victimless crimes and others because they had spat in the creator's faces and laughed. But some, a far too large percentage in Starseeker's opinion, came because they had been kicked out of their old clans. Some for committing crimes against the natural order of things, others for being far too power hungry to be safe. They were not good people, not all of them. Starseeker knew that they all bowed, irregardless, down to Ledi and her power. That didn't mean they weren't dangers to others, that didn't mean that not a day goes by where Starseeker doesn't question just where Elegy's children go after they wander down into the cellar. Patch was one of the more concerning denizens, always wandering around in a far too stained labcoat with multicolored syringes sticking out of everywhere. Starseeker stayed far away from the Nocturne and her strange little dolls that flitted about. Everywhere she went, she kept herself safe. Maybe she looked a tad too eccentric with all of her earrings and decor, but she was safe. Even though her children had all left her, she was safe.
