Neru's skill was inherited through her bloodline at the cost of their sight, which she accepted at the young age of two weeks old. Her predictions mostly come a few hours ahead of an event, allowing everyone to prepare for what is to come.
-
Neru enjoys being social despite otherwise being mute until her predictions voice themselves through her. She usually communicates through her body language in order to let others know what she means, but sometimes more complex signals can be confusing for dragons who have never met her before.

She is aided by her familiar Yalu, who Neru found a few months after she was appointed her seer position. Yalu tends to be very straight-laced but likes helping Neru out whenever she needs it and will, on occasion, serve as her translator.
