______ No one thought that Doll had the guts to take part in the war. Her shy nature made her an easy target for bullies when she was younger. She was hard on herself and cried easily. To make matters worse, she was born with weak flight muscles, which made it difficult for her to leave the ground. While all of her friends were soaring in the clouds, she was stuck on the ground. This made her increasingly frustrated and irritable. But she kept these emotions to herself, pretending that everything was fine.

______ There are times in everyone's lives where, no matter how hard you try, your feelings cannot be held back. Doll's anger and spite for the people who ridiculed her was finally released one day. When Doll had come home from her daily lessons one day, she discovered her den ransacked. Making her way to her parent's room, she found the dragon who had disturbed her life.
"Hey there little girl"

It was so quiet that you could hear the poor little dragon's heart thumping against her rib cage

"W-where are my mom and dad?" Her demand came out as a stutter. She summoned all her courage and tried again. "Where are they?"

The dragon remained silent, a wicked grin pulling at his features.

"Answer me!"

In a hushed tone he said:
"They're dead." He stepped aside to reveal the mangled bodies of her parents. "Killed em' with my own two claws. Awful annoying they w-"

He never finished the sentence. His blood stained Doll's claws before she even knew what she was doing. Realizing what she had done, Doll fled in horror.

______ When Doll finally returned to society, she vowed to never again hurt another dragon. While walking through a small alleyway, she saw a flyer advertising the need for medics in the war. Doll took this to heart and joined as a medic, vowing to heal as many dragons as she could, until she felt that she had made up for the life she had taken.

Dusk is her forever mate.
