Biography
Dallen. A sweet, if not somewhat forgetful wizard. Forgetful, yet powerful. He knows a vast number of spells, From those that would be considered a simple party trick, to powerful magic that only the most adept of sorcerers dare cast. However, he can never remember that he knows these spells until he actually needs them. Enjat slipped and fell into a lava pool? Oh, yes, the fireproof spell! The pups are throwing things again? No matter, there's that shield spell he knew forever ago, remembered just in time to prevent the projectile from hitting an unsuspecting dragon. He's unsure of how he knows all of this, or how he manages to rememeber it all at the exact moment he needs it, but he's certainly thankful he can!
The tundra wandered up to this strange lair one day, when it was just starting to expand. Though he was initially slated to become a sacrifice to the Flamecaller, A display of magic, just the magic needed at the time, saved him. Balefire decided that, while he'd rather not have the Tundra (or ANY Tundra, for that matter!) around, it was bestnot to provoke this one, least he come out with a spell to evaporate the clan leader.
Of course, Dallan barely remembers that. But there is one time he remembers well. One of his few vivid memories. It was a time where he, Kilauea, and Desert had ventured into the Southern Icefield, in search of the bright Nocturne's original lair, hoping that somehow they would be able to convince the cruel and insane leader to let them have some of his hatchlings. If nothing but the fodder, as she had been. Their plans had been cut short, however, when a roar was
heard over the howling of the wind. It hadn't taken long for the source of the roar to reveal itsself. A massive Tundra, the color of the ice, save for the blood dripping from its fur landed in front of them. The tundra's red eyes seemed to glow as it let out another cry, looking at them as they might an elk. A cold chill had run down his spine that day. He alone knew what they were facing, though never had he encountered a wendigo in real life, he had read about the creatures many times. He had barked orders at the other two to run, while he alone faced the beast. The battle was long and difficult, but he remembered a great many spells that day. The least of which not being a spell to bind the beast, make it tame. And tame it he did. He brought it back to the clan, gentle as a puppy. It didn't stay that way not all the time, but the Wendigo, which called itsself (himself?) Grimfang, soon learned to exist within an already chaotic and mismatched fire lair. At least, so long as Dallan and his magic are there......even if he can't remember what spell he used!
Of course, Nothing could have prepared him for when the Wendigo wandered off, and though the rest of the clan was grateful....he was worried. There was no telling where that thing could have gone off to, or who it could be bothering...or eating.
