Biography
The Flute
While walking through the eerie forest, you feel your foot hit something. Glancing down, you see an intricately carved flute with red beads and iridescent black feathers tied to one end. Picking up the unexpected item, you stare at the elegant swirls creating patterns that seem to shift before your eyes. Feeling the urge to try out your newfound instrument, you lift the flute to your lips and blow softly. The leaves rustle nearby. Startled, you step back, lowering the flute. You wait for several seconds, but nothing happens. A bit worried, but still curious, you once again lift the flute. The first note is thin and reedy, yet you could feel is resounding inside you. The leaves rustle again, but you are entranced by the flute. You begin to play, and eerie melody of loss and sadness. Out of the leaves a small dirty yellow shape stumbles in time to your music. The skeleton of a squirrel, several bones missing, sways to your tune. The bushes shiver as a fox skeleton, covered in moss, trots out. All around you, bones shiver and sway to your music, surrounding you. You pause your playing to marvel at all the undead around you, and the bones collapse, still as death. Intrigued, you play once again, and they resume their dance. You stare in wonder at the flute. Your flute.

some notes:
- just before he was absorbed and rendered powerless in the flute, Adinos managed to somehow convince the sorcerers to not kill him (possibly partially because he technically assimilates the minds he consumes, and he was like you don't want to lose this knowledge, do you? except more eloquently)
- Adinos and the flute were created at the same time, and they're kind of bound together? it's one of the only thing (the most definite thing) that can stop him, as demonstrated, and their existence depends on the other's
- yeah he kind of wants revenge...typical. on the descendants of the sorcerers who trapped him
- also on the things they lured him with: they were all tied to some form of knowledge; the sorcerers themselves were all scholars, the ribbons (which he carried over into his new body) were soaked in the sea by the Spiral Keep, etc.
- the sorcerers also didn't complete the ritual entirely (possibly accidentally?) because otherwise it would've been almost impossible for him to have been freed (since basically Adinos and the flute are supposed to be tied together; if they had completed the ritual the flute would have been literally able to revive the dead/raise the undead/charm the living and other things of the like; however in such a case Adinos would have no power/will/control and his consciousness would be basically absorbed to fuel the flute's power, so technically the more powerful Adinos is before he's merged with the flute the more powerful the flute will be too)
- as such Adinos was able to steal the body of whoever played him and was entranced by the power of him/the flute to the point of getting almost...drunk on the power?
- how did he come to be with the Apolkyrfas? a good question
- he felt drawn here by the same force that draws all of the clan's other dragons, but of course like the others he didn't recognize it as such
- he came to the Apolkyrfas while he was wandering Sornieth looking for revenge and ended up staying because Memories had records regarding how to destroy unbreakable magical objects (and also like everyone had delicious minds)
- however the Coatl was still deciphering the scroll...and for some reason Adinos decided to stay to wait instead of moving on
- relationship with Aakyso? too bad they can't actually breed :(

Bound but never broken, the stained glass mirrors reflect the bloody bonds you broke and the whispers by which you wrecked havoc. Heed not the song, the bluejay’s cry, turn not your face towards the moon! By bone, through the mind; through the mind, the sting and the sweet comfort of sleep. So comes the wild hunt, the nighttime thrill, the cats a-howl and the river frozen through, and so all your plans will twist in and consume themselves.
