The Borderlands are a strange place where nothing is as it seems. Reality distorts and the impossible becomes possible. The landscape itself seems to be alive, and it does not seem too keen on visitors. What beauties and horrors will you find in this place? Take what you can and hurry... who knows how long escape will be possible.

Most seem to have a keen interest in whatever it was they found in the dirt. As you approach, the birds hop away, but do not scatter. A bloodied carcass lays in the dust, crimson rivulets pooling in cracks in the ground. One flying dove perches on your shoulder, beak a matching shade of red. It pecks at your shoulder lightly before turning to look at you. Your eyes meet solid black ones.
