Erys managed to tone down her condition due to the circumstances of her being born within the Sunbeam Ruins... but Lycoris was sadly not so lucky. She and her nestmates were a result of a decision made that likely should not have happened, given that the condition only worsened being actually born within the confines of the Scarred Wasteland. But it's not like Lycoris is resentful towards her heritage, she doesn't know her father that well but she's always been close to her mother. Well looked after too, Erys did her best to be sure that the Haemophilic genes were as manageable as possible. She still wasn't the worst case to ever exist, but she had more common trips to the healers than her mother to be rid of the excessive blood.

But it is through these trips that she became entranced by different plants and medicines used for healing purposes, which only went on to be expanded into plants used for every day tasks, and also much to the concern of most dragons: poisons. Lycoris wanted to learn about herbology more officially so badly, but her living situation at the Mondire Court with her mother didn't allow for much time for learning. The healers already there were often busy or anxious for the next time they would be busy, impossible to learn from properly.

But when they finally left the court's castle behind them and settled into a small wind clan, Lycoris pleaded with Azrael for him to teach her. Granted he used plants for sorcery and there would be no outrunning magic lessons, but that just meant some extra learning on top of her main interest. Azrael knew plants and had the time to teach, so Lycoris was taken in as his apprentice.

She does her best to handle her health condition herself or with Azrael's occasional help these days, glad to be more independent from her mother with more easy access to the healing she needed to know. She doesn't keep many close friends with being so buried in her studies, often talking more towards her pot of Antirrhinums (as she insists on calling them) than most other dragons. Though they must offer some good for her, as she occasionally calls them the nickname 'Snappy'.

All in all, life is good, relatively uneventful. Except for that one priestess that keeps visiting...
