| Perhaps, it was best never to look into his eyes. He was regarded with the highest respect, the one who leads the clan. Menthe saw it unnecessary to talk unnecessarily; actions spoke louder than words. Cliched it may be, but truth it speaks. Though he barely talked with any in the clan, he knew. He knew that sometimes, Annabelle would waver in fatigue, but chose not to speak of it. He knew that some of the hatchlings found it difficult to tread amongst the older dragons. Just like how he could easily discern a lie spoken. Menthe would often be found by Annabelle’s side, his beautiful mate. She was his other half, the one who completed his life, his soul. There were no other words to describe her, but beautiful. Sometimes, when the clan had one of it’s lazy days, he would curl up beside her, watching over the hatchlings. That was perhaps the best times he could ask for. Other times, he would watch over the energetic young ones with her. |

Gentle and kind, Willow is often found beside Menthe. She often acts as his third in command, second being his mate. Her judgements have always been fair and acts as his second opinion. Though Menthe only had eyes for Annabelle, Willow held a special place in his heart. |
