When it comes to fighting prowess, it pays to expect the unexpected with Jekto. While most Faes specialize in magic, Jekto is trained in hand-to-hand combat. One might think that his small size would make such a specialization impractical, but on more than one occasion the reverse has shown itself to be true. Jekto is agile in combat and his small size makes him nearly impossible to hit - and when he finds an opening, he is quick enough to dart under his opponent's guard and deal a blow that can make even a Brilliant Psywurm shake its head in disorientation. Jekto used this strategy to complete the first portion of his training without receiving so much as a scratch, a feat which quickly earned the respect of his training partner Innis.

Clan life is very important to Jekto, and he does all he can to help, both in the field and around the lair. He is prone to overextending himself and sometimes needs to be reminded about the value of relaxation. He will put on a happy face no matter how tired he is, but the dragons who know him best can tell when he is getting worn down by the stiff way he carries his fins. When his friends notice this, one of them is always quick to settle Jekto down with a warm mug of tea and a good book to read - and sometimes a hug, if the mood calls for it. After a few hours' rest, he'll be right back out there helping his family, rain or shine.
