If there's anyone you want watching the skies, Dweller should be at the very top of your list. A wind dragon through and through, she grew up among the kite-dwelling citizens aboard the Windswept Plateau's Cloudsong. Her namesake is in fact derived from this, though only her wife, Mako, gets to address her as Kite.

Following a tragic incident in her young adult life that saw Dweller damaging both her front limbs, she journeyed to the Shifting Expanse seeking the more advanced mechanical braces available there. While there, she gained both incredibly designed lightweight metallic forelimbs and a keen interest in engineering. In an area constantly plagued by thunderstorms and other extreme weather patterns, her knowledge of meteorology made her a welcome applicant to the ranks of the Flight's Corporate employees. But like most wind dragons, her restlessness meant that the dull routine of corporate work began to grind on her.

Though more freeform, independent work isn't usually available in the Shifting Expanse, Dweller eventually found an opening being advertised for a meteorologist aboard an independent lightning rig in the midst of the ocean between the Shifting Expanse and the Southern Icefield. Dweller hadn't been sure initially if this job would be the one for her. She'd never been so glad to be wrong. Being between two regions with such extreme weather patterns meant she'd see the elements manifest in ways stronger than she'd ever seen, and the location meant the Lightning Rig was often a stop for ships making the long journey between the main continent and the Southern Icefield.

Then of course, she met Mako, and the rest is history. As the more gregarious and cheery of the two, the other employees tend to wonder how they got together, but as one of the first hired onto the Lightning Rig, they had a lot of time to spend together.
