Biography

"Where are you going child?" A ragged voice called to him. She spun around, surprised and taken off guard. "Woah! I'm not going to hurt you," the old Snapper said, clearly seeing the fear plastered upon the young Spiral's face. "It's not safe for such a youngin' to be out this late. Now, I'm not going to make you do anytin, but won't you spend the night with my wife an' I? You look run ragged. We'll feed you and give you a nice place to stay for the night. You can be gone in the morning without so much as a goodbye."

She felt tears rush into her eyes. She hadn't felt such kindness in a long time, but she whispered anyways, "I can't. I'll bring nightmares to your home."

"Nonsense! Such a tiny thing as you can't hurt a big strong papa like me. Astrid, my wife, and I will keep you safe 'til mornin'." The Snapper looked at her, big, brown eyes caring and full of worry. "I'm Arden, so you know. It seems I can't convince you, and I won't force you, so please be safe-"

"It's because I'm BROKEN!" She screamed.
