She took to the lute at her father's knee. She was fascinated by the way he could make the strings sing, and control the mood of an entire crowd with just his playing. When she was younger, she burned with the desire to stir the emotions of dragons like he could.

By the time she was grown, her skill matched his. Her motivation stood her in good stead, leading her on to learn the pipeflutes, drums, and singing, but by that time she had found a different, complementary passion. She became very well versed in the business of secrets.

She started to use her charming voice, manners, and exquisite playing to win those secrets out of dragons who would rather hold them tight. People called her father charming, but he only used his charm on the lady dragons. She charmed anyone and everyone she came into contact with. She was their best friend, their confidant, and their adviser by the time she was done with them.

When she left, she told her clan that she was striking out to hone her music craft. This was a bold-faced lie. She truly left because she was bored with the people she had come to know so well. There are many dragons out there with all sorts of valuable secrets, and wanted to all of them to be presented to her as an offering.
-mag. 10, phys. 14. Diana had to make a deal with the Lightweaver to get the Stormcatcher to bless Angelica so she'd have a prolonged life. Angelica isn't immortal like Diana, but she will live far longer than a normal dragon
