When her whole family was slaughtered right before her eyes by a forever unknown villain, who left only her unharmed for a forever unknown reason, she was driven into grief and despair. Trying to bring back her family, she sold her soul to dark and forbidden magic, which made her extremely powerful but at the same time made her mind and body slowly being absorbed by miasma and dark matter, leading to a continuous decay. While she still focuses on forbidden and cryptic spells, she forgot the reason long ago. The Runescroll was gifted to her by "the Apeiron" to prevent her mind and body from being dissolved and degenerated completely, and to prevent the other dragons from the clan from being infected by the miasma. He also ordered Byzantion and Azoria to stay close to her side, in case the murderer of her family decides to return. Due to the horrific, cruel, and terrible experience in her past, Mhyrcella hardly trusts anyone, except her two close friends and soulmates Ruth and Pan, and her mentor Eos who tries to help her fighting the dark miasma and keeping her mind sane. When Ruth was abducted by "the God", Mhyrcella's state of mind changed for the worse, and she stopped communicating with others completely. Cupid is seated on the skull of humanity On this throne the impious one with the shameless laugh As if they would rejoin the globes at the ether's end. The sphere, fragile and luminous, takes flight rapidly, Bursts and spits out its flimsy soul like a golden dream. I hear the skull groan and entreat at every bubble: "When is this fierce, ludicrous game to come to an end? Because what your pitiless mouts scatters in the air, Monstrous murderer — is my brain, My flesh and my blood!" |
