Biography
Though not of royal blood, Blodeuwedd, the Flower-faced Beauty, is well respected within the Faerie Court. Crafted from flowers and vines as a lover to royalty, her ethereal looks and charming smile earn her the love of the Seelie by day. However, she is cursed to assume the form of a twisted Owl by night: The bird hated by all other birds. Her unholy screams, like the banshees that roam the outskirts, can shatter glass, kill wildlife, and send hatchlings squealing back to their mothers.
Though she's mated to Gwyllion, and loves him dearly, hers is love of status rather than personage. She revels in her position as Grand Duchess, with a high chance of ascending to Seelie Queen, but her eyes wander to every handsome newcomer who comes to court. She's content with her lot for now: Smiling and waving to her adoring public, but that's only because they know not of her murky past, and the true origins of the curse. To put it simply, Gwyllion has much reason to keep an eye on her.
