We were friends once, remember that? Remember how we used to play in the caves of The Crystalspine reaches, or how we used to play tag among the glowing trees of The Starwood strand? We were the best of friends. I stood up for you, and you for me. Then I met her. You didn't have anything against her, though a spark of recognition Went thorugh your Eyes when you first saw her; like old friends meeting after years of beeing apart. Or like old enemies.
Do you remember how her beautiful wings, antlers and mane glimmered in the light; how her beautiful golden eyes seemed to glow of light and kindness? Do you remember her soft, melodic voice? Do you remember how she tried to make piece with you, to finally stop the curse? Do you remember how you refused? Do you remember when you tricked me in to thingking you killed her? Do you remember how, in my sorruw-fuled fury lashed out at you, just for you to strike me down, mutilate me and leave me to go mad?

I crawled out in to that plague ridden, arcane cursed swamp that day, hoping to escape their horrified, pitiful stares? Do you know how many years I spent in that swamp, beleving her to be dead, slowly going mad until she found me?

The day she found me was the best day of my life. I was so close to the edge of snapping when I finally heard her voice. I honestly though I was just hallucinating until the put her wings around me, lead me away from the swamp and to a small cabin. She fed me, bathed me, took care of me. I Think it was the first time in years my scales had been blue, and not a sickly green. She helped me back.
I'd go after you, I really would, but I won't. I won't destroy our peacful life, so I'll leave you be. I can say, for the fist time in years, that I am content. And that's enough.
