After their move to the Southern Icefield, Lady Mogar and her partner, Mogar, realized how difficult it would be to both protect their clan and gather enough food to survive. Thus, when they encountered Zeronos and found out he was without a clan, they asked him to join their clan.

Since he never sleeps, he keeps constant vigil over the clan. He's completely in charge of lair protection and he trains the hatchlings and younger adults in how to protect themselves. He feels he owes much to the clan that welcomed him with open wings and so he does all he can to repay them.

Though large and menacing, Zeronos is actually quite a teddy bear and enjoys spending his free time with young hatchlings. The flower crown and necklace he wears constantly are gifts from the hatchlings in the clan and they all scramble to make him new ones when the old ones begin to wilt - he's tickled over the fact that they go on to brag about how "Zeronos is wearing my flower crown!"
