Niaka

"Nature is beauty."

Niaka is a fae that keeps to herself. Her lair is spun above her garden located at the front of one of the mesas that surround the clan. She believes a little beauty would lighten the place and is slowly spreading her nature magic all throughout the clan. A few of the Lightning dragons have started a petition to keep their desert nature free but has met with little response. She has since placed protective spells upon her flora life, especially to ward against a certain annoyance that enjoys turning them into small monstrosities to grab at passing dragon's feet.

The quite fae rarely starts a conversation as other dragons often confuse her. She finds it difficult to understand what they're trying to say but is slowly learning. The times when she does speak with the other residents, she's been know to speak soft and thoughtful. However, she's been know to abruptly stop a conversation and drift off to care for a stray flower or her gardens. The others have gotten used to her behavior and often stop by to view her beautiful work.

Niaka has been trained to venture into the Golem Workshop upon request by Starcatcher. He explained that nature magic would have a strong effect within its walls and that he was in need of a skilled mage for his team, which he dubbed Faerly Wild in anticipation of her joining. She thought the Wildclaw charming and agreed. Under the tutelage of Masterson and Hatter, Niaka finished her training in a quick, but timely manner as she did not like being away from her plants for very long.

She has formed a friendship with Lylena as she has yet to meet a Lightning dragon so enthusiastic about flowers and herbs. Niaka even started to grow a few of the rarer ones found exclusively in the Viridian Labyrinth for the young imperial to use as she pleases. Though she never says much to her, Niaka enjoys Lylena's visits to her gardens and has given her unlimited access to all parts of it. When Niaka starts to enter the Golem Workshop with Starcatcher and Barrubus, she intends to leave Lylena in charge of her gardens.

This little fae has also been tasked with maintaining the clan's cactus farms, one of their sources of water. She ventures out once a day to work a little magic on them and harvest some water. The stores are placed within the hoard, hidden deep inside a mesa for protection against any unpleasant dragons that seek their treasure. To gain entry, one must have permission from Seacrest, or Belnan, or Sauron, then from Lightsoul who is in charge of it.

This nature dragon takes each of her responsibilities seriously and with due diligence. Upon request she has been known to educate hatchlings upon the different flora life that lives in all the different parts of Sornieth. Some have difficultly following what she tries to explain so luckily Lylena is always there ready to assist.
